Do I need to prepare anything?+
Nothing at all. Bernie handles everything, equipment, setup, and breakdown. Just share your song preferences and event timeline beforehand.
How far in advance should I book?+
As early as possible. Popular dates (especially spring and fall weekends) fill quickly. 3–6 months ahead is ideal, but reach out regardless, last-minute availability does happen.
Can you learn a specific song for my event?+
Yes. Up to 3 custom arrangements are included per booking. If a song has special meaning to you, Bernie will learn and arrange it.
How long do you typically perform?+
Most bookings are 1–2 hours, but this is flexible. Ceremony + cocktail hour is a popular combination. Longer sets are available for receptions and galas.
Do you need a sound system or power?+
For intimate gatherings (under ~80 guests), acoustic violin is enough. For larger events, Bernie brings a wireless amplification setup, just a standard power outlet nearby.
What areas do you serve?+
Based in Arlington, VA. Regularly performs throughout the DMV (D.C., Maryland, Virginia). Travel available for destination events, just ask.
